nachdem ich im vergangenen jahr das projekt ‘ostsee-umradelung’ wegen des diebstahls meines rades bereits nach einem guten drittel in lettlands hauptstadt riga hatte aufgeben müssen, bin ich nun entschlossen, zumindest einen großteil der reststrecke in diesem frühjahr anzugehen. für die gesamte ursprünglich geplante 2009 route, z. b. auch durch russland, reicht dieses jahr leider die zeit nicht. - [2] hier nun meine planung und meine reiseberichte wie gewohnt.  

after having been forced to discontinue my last year’s project ‘baltic cycle’ due to the theft of my bicycle in latvia’s capital riga after just a third of the planned itinerary, i am bent to cycling at least a great part of the remaining stretch this spring. regretfully due to time constraints i cannot cover the whole 2009 route initially planned, e.g. through russia. - [3] here you find my plan and report on this trip as ususal
